Polycard is a deck-building auto-battler that is heavily inspired by the likes of Balatro, Genshin Impact TCG, Catan, and Hearthstone.

Using a variety of cards, battle against groups of enemies until you cannot fathom any more losses. Roll the dice and watch the battle unfold. Strategize which support cards to use in combination with your entities. Synergize and become undefeatable.

Using tokens from battles, you can purchase card packs to improve and refine your decks.

Got to 17 rounds, but the game is pretty boring. Within a run there’s not much variety in what you can pick due to it using the same abilities as your deck, and the rounds take ages to complete making it even slower to try and roll for a good set of changes.

Btw, there’s a bug in the binding selection, where if you pick a card and an effect, then swap card, you’ll keep the selected effect even if it’s already been applied to that card.

Hey, thanks for checking out my game. I appreciate the feedback! I agree that the rounds can feel tedious, I never got the game loop completely correct. I wanted to create a system that felt more like a TCG than a roguelite deckbuilder (to steer away from becoming another Balatro clone). This project got dropped after I realized the overall game loop didn't feel as fun as I wanted it to be, and the art aspect of battle animations would take too much time for me.

I am aware of the bug and never got around to fixing it, but thanks for bringing it up!

Happy Holidays!
